But first, some information about a local college fair :)  Ventura High School will be hosting a local college fair on Thursday, November 8th with over 60 colleges scheduled to attend.  And now on to your regularly scheduled blog.... If you're the parent of a high school junior, this is definitely the time to start checking out local colleges, and while campus tours are great, campus open houses are an excellent opportunity to get financial aid information, find out about extracurricular activities, and have a large portion of the campus geared to helping students see if it's the right/wrong college for them.
